Minnesota High School Rodeo Association has been in existance for over
50 years. MNHSRA is committed to promoting the sport of rodeo through
the youth of our state as they compete in the rodeo events governed by
the National High School Rodeo Association. It is the intent of MNHSRA and the NHSRA to project a positive image of sport of rodeo by preserving the western heritage of our country, demanding a high level of conduct among the members, and maintaining a high regard for the treatment of livestock. Membership in is available in two divisions--high school and junior high. The high school division is open to students in grades 9-12, while the junior high (Wrangler) division is for students in grade 6-8. If you would like to join our organization please contact our membership secretary Shantel Thorson. We welcome new members at any time during the season! Please view the membership link for details. Rodeo standings will be updated as soon as the information is available. All results are unofficial until they have been verified by the points secretary. The MNHSRA Board of Directors works under the guidelines of associations bylaws and ground rules. The state is divided into 5 regions. Each region has representation at the board meetings. Student directors also play a vital role in the governance of our organization. There are two High School Division and two Wrangler Division student directors. In addition each event is overseen by a student event director. These directors are there to assist you with questions regarding your events. Director and committee information is found on the directors link. For more information visit the National High School Rodeo Association website.
