2017 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR NATIONAL QUALIFIERS:
Both 8th Grade and Senior Scholarship Applications are provided in fillable formats. Please enter all information online, proof, then print to sign and attach required documents. Do not handwrite the information in the application, the list of school and community or the personal statement of no more than 100 words. All of that information must be computer-generated. Those documents, as well as transcripts/grade reports must be submitted by the respective deadline. No additional documents, artifacts, photos, covers or folders will be accepted. Handwritten and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. All documents must be in hard copy. Electronic storage devices (flash drives, thumb drives, discs, etc.) will NOT be accepted. There will be NO computers or printers available for use in the Foundation Office at either Finals. Applicants must arrive prepared to submit hard copies of the application and supporting documents by the deadline.
2017 Cinch Academic 8th Grade Cowboy/Cowgirl ($1000 each) and NEW Foundation Finalists (2 each of $500 and 2 each of $300)
- Eligible applicants are 8th grade NJHFR 2017 qualifiers, moving to 9th grade next school year.
- As this is the Cinch Academic Scholarship, applicants should have exhibited exemplary grades (typically, straight A’s/perfect marks, may include course taken for high school credit), as well as well-rounded in school and community activities.
- Applications with all required documents are due Sunday, June 18, at the Gist Silversmiths booth in the NJHFR Trade Show at the Wilson County Expo Center, no later than 6:00 p.m. Handwritten and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. There will be no computers or printers available for this purpose.
- Finalists will be posted in the Official Posting Area and will be required to interview on Tuesday, June 20, at 1:30 p.m., in the Education Building.
- Scholarships will be presented on Wednesday, June 21, at 6:30 p.m., in the Stock Walkway of the Arenas.
- The Foundation Office will be located in the Wilson County Expo Center

Info sheets for St Peter and HS Finals are now posted. Thank you for your patience while the details for these events were ironed out. Since these events have a different format than in years past, an Order of Events has been included for your convenience.
Please note St Peter will have a performance on Friday 7 PM. Please refer to MNHSRA By-Law IX 6. If preference for slack Day 1 is required due to official school, family, or religious function, notify Dee mailto:email@example.com in writing prior to date of rodeo entries closing. St Peter’s entries close May 23 at 10 PM. Preferences will be slack or performance only. For rough stock riders unable to attend Friday PM, the option of riding 2x in the Saturday Performance will be available. No rough stock on Sunday.

Hello MNHSRA Members –
Spring academic forms are available. Each contestant must be submitted to the entry secretary prior to check in of the first rodeo in spring of the 2016-17 season in which you will participate. The first section is to be completed by the member and the second section is to be completed by the school (Principal or Superintendent). These can be sent to Dee via email or mail. Do not delay get submit them early to avoid any conflicts.
