Megan Broich

My name is Megan Broich, and I am honored to serve as the 2026–2027 Miss Minnesota High School Rodeo Queen. In thefall of 2 026, I will be a senior at Sauk Centre High School and will begin my third season competing with the Minnesota High School Rodeo Association (MNHSRA). I compete in barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, team roping, and the queen contest. After high school, I hope to attend SDSU, major in respiratory care, and compete on the SDSU rodeo team. Outside of rodeo, I have been a three-sport athlete in cross country, basketball, and softball. I have also shown competitively in 4-H and WSCA events, including showmanship, pleasure, English, and all gaming events. I am proud to be an eight-time Minnesota State 4-H champion. I attended my first Minnesota High School Rodeo three seasons ago and immediately fell in love with the sport. Soon after, I retired my pleasure and English show horse, joined MNHSRA, and chose to step away from my fall and spring sports so I could focus on becoming more competitive in rodeo. Rodeo has pushed me outside my comfort zone, taught me the value of hard work, and encouraged me to try new things—lessons I hope to share with others. Through rodeo, I have met many wonderful people, and I want to encourage more youth to become part of the MNHSRA family. The MNHSRA Finals will be held June 11–13, 2027, at Dead Broke Arena in Hugo, Minnesota. Please join us as we celebrate our high school athletes and enjoy a great time together!
